World War 2 Workshop
On Thursday 15th September, Year 5 were fortunate to hear a first-hand account of World War 2 from our school governor Mr Armitage. He brought with him several artefacts and replicas, including officer’s uniforms, safe to handle replica WW2 firearms and a selection of artefacts linked to rationing. We all learned so much about how it felt to live through the war and how ordinary people were affected. What a great way to start our WW2 topic!
